Web Development Terms and Conditions

CLIENT agrees and understands that any timelines provided by the developer is an estimate, and is also predicated and dependent on the CLIENT supplying all content such as items for shopping cart, photos, product or services and titles, descriptions and pricing. Additionally, on-page SEO can only begin when POST Articles are delivered by CLIENT. Off-page SEO requires CLIENT to supply press releases within the timeline in a timely manner. Client is responsible for accurately submitting business details to Google through the Google console and providing any confirmation codes back to Google. There is no guarantee of a business success or implied or given. Client understands that all businesses need to maintain a marketing effort and strategy. We only offer Web development and NO Marketing services unless these services are explicitly offered in writing. Additionally, if CLIENT cannot provide content during the timeline, the payment for that timeline is considered as spent as it’s impossible for the developer to fill that time slot with another project. This means any extensions in the timeline are the responsibility of the CLIENT not the developer. If extended time is needed due to CLIENT delaying in providing the deliverables so will the weekly payments be extended at the same weekly payment schedule, in order to complete said project or tasks.


No Refund Policy
All payments made for web development services are non-refundable. By engaging THE WORLD OF CODE for Web development on an hourly basis, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

• Scope of Services: Services provided are limited strictly to web development and do not include marketing, search engine optimization, or promotional activities related to the website.

• Hourly Billing: Work is billed at the agreed hourly rate or project rate. Invoices will reflect the actual hours worked, as tracked and reported to the client.

• Non-Refundable Payments: Due to the nature of custom web development and the time-based billing model, all payments for hours worked are final and non-refundable, regardless of project outcome or client satisfaction.

• No Returns or Exchanges: Once work has commenced and hours have been logged, no returns, exchanges, or credits will be offered for completed work or time spent.

• Client Responsibilities: The client is responsible for providing timely feedback, required content, and approvals. Delays or lack of communication from the client do not entitle the client to a refund.

• Project Termination: Should the client choose to terminate the project before completion, payment for all hours worked up to the termination date remains due and non-refundable.

• Exceptions: Refunds will only be considered in the event of a clear failure to deliver the agreed-upon development services as outlined in the project scope, and only at the sole discretion of THE WORLD OF CODE.

All payments made for Web development services are final. THE WORLD OF CODE does not offer refunds under any circumstances for services rendered, including but not limited to hourly work, completed deliverables, or partially completed projects. This policy is subject to all applicable local, state, and federal consumer protection laws. If any provision of this policy is found to be unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
